12-part series on Tuesdays at 11:00 AM, from March 15 - June 7
Shaare Zedek hosts a series of classes on the Feldenkrais Method, sponsored by the Feldenkrais Foundation and co-sponsored by SZ member Daniel Goldberg.
Would you like to have better posture, greater flexibility, greater ease of movement, more comfort in your joints, better balance, less muscular tension, and more energy?
Moving Forward with the Feldenkrais Method uses stress-free exercises that allow your brain to help your body. No stretching, no straining, no exerting yourself! Feldenkrais exercises consist of small, comfortable movements, made in an easy and relaxed way.
Who should participate?
Classes are open to everyone though particularly helpful and safe to seniors and those with limited mobility. The exercises featured in the classes are designed especially for elder citizens, and are non-stressful, gentle, easy-to-do and comfortable. Participants should wear comfortable clothing.
The complete schedule and teachers are listed at the bottom of this page. For more information about this specific set of classes, visit the Feldenkrais Foundation website.
